Riposte has been awarded the much coveted five red stars in James Halliday’s 2017 Wine Companion. As explained in the Companion “Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity.” Although winemaker Tim Knappstein has crafted wines for over 50 years, when commencing Riposte in 2006, he justifiably had to earn his stars a second time.
